Pukekohe Business Association's Annual General Meeting

Last month, the PBA held its Annual General Meeting. This saw the review of the financial year that was, a look and the draft budget for the following financial years plus we welcomed in our new executive committee.

The following documents were presented and approved by the attending members at our 2025 AGM held on the 29th October 2025:

1.  The 2025 Annual and Financial Report that contains the following: 

• FY26 & FY27 Draft Budget (including an $41,600 / 8% Targeted rate increase for FY27- Approved)
• FY 26 & 27 Annual Plan
• FY25 Financial Documents
• FY25 Annual Manager's, Chairperson's & Treasurer's reports

2.  2025 BID Constitution ready for re-registration under the new Incorporated Societies Act 2022

3.  2025 Draft AGM Minutes 

4.  2023-2028 Strategic Plan

This year, with 3 of our current members being in their first term, we had 9 spaces to fill. As we received 10 applicants to fill those spaces, a vote was required.

After an exhaustive round of voting and scrutiny by Senior Sergeant Wayne Paxton & Franklin Local Board Member Andrew Kay,  I am pleased to welcome our FY2026 Executive Committee

Following our AGM, we heard from Christina Rogstad, Franklin Economic Broker, about the exciting growth and development of the Franklin region.

There is much to be excited about in the coming years as Pukekohe continues to he at the heart of regional development and expansions.
