The Hidden Cafe
Welcome to Pukekohe’s best kept secret!
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of a busy main road, you’ll find the aptly named Hidden Café.
Praised for their friendly service, great coffee and delicious menu, The Hidden Café is still relatively new to Pukekohe’s Hospitality scene.
Husband and wife team, Alexander Huang and Doris Wu opened the Café in May 2020, during the height of COVID-19. While Alexander admits it hasn’t been easy launching a new business in the middle of a pandemic, their patronage is gradually increasing as more people become aware of their location.
The Hidden Cafe’s relaxed rural setting is great for families with young children. With an outdoor dining space and play area, friendly Alpaca’s and even a resident Peacock, there’s a lot to keep the kids entertained.
But delicious food and coffee isn’t all you’ll find here. Exit through the back door of the café and you’ll find Alexander and Doris’ initial business purchase; a large outdoor laser strike arena.
“Feedback from kids and adults are always great”
When asked what made him decide to purchase a laser strike business in 2019, Alexander told us “We love to see people happy and laser strike makes people happy!”
Between a homely café with yummy meals and baking, and an awesome laser strike arena, The Hidden Café should be the next destination on your list.
Visit The Hidden Café for your next lunch or team building event!
