Shop to Win Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promoter is the Pukekohe Business Association (PBA) located at 217 King Street, Pukekohe.
  2. The sponsors are Pukekohe Business Association, Mitre 10 Mega Pukekohe, and Pukekohe Travel.
  3. The promotional period is 9am Thursday 28th September 2017 to 5pm Thursday 30th November 2017.
  4. To enter the competition, you must make a purchase at any participating business in Pukekohe.
  5. You may enter as many times as you wish however it is only one entry per purchase. Each entry must be made on a separate entry form.
  6. Entrants must complete all required fields on the entry form to qualify. Valid contact details including full name, email address, phone number, store of purchase and purchase amount must be provided at the time of entry to qualify.
  7. The Promotion is open to New Zealand residents only.
  8. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
  9. Proof of purchase must be kept and is to be provided to redeem the prize. Entries verified by participating businesses are accepted as proof. Inability to produce proof of purchase will render the entry invalid and a new winner will be drawn.
  10. No responsibility is accepted for late or misdirected entries.
  11. The draw will be held on Tuesday 5th December 2017. The first valid entry drawn will be the winner. The winner will be notified by Thursday 7th December 2017. The winner will be contacted using details provided. If a winner cannot be contacted within 2 working days PBA reserves the right to redraw the prize.
  12. Prize consists of one (1) round-trip trip for two (2) adults aged eighteen (18) years or older to Rarotonga including flights, accommodation for five (5) nights and $500 spending money as follows;
    • The prize has a value of approx. NZD $4500
    • All components of the prize must be taken together or otherwise are deemed to be forfeited.
    • Prizes are not exchangeable [to another trip], are not transferrable [to another traveller] and cannot be redeemed for an equivalent cash value.
    • All arrangements must be made via Promoters' designated fulfilment partner, Pukekohe Travel, and bookings made independently will not be refunded. Winners must give adequate notice of desired dates of travel, which are subject to availability. Blackout dates may apply. Travel must be completed by 30/06/2018. No extension is available.
    • All other expenses are the prize-winners responsibility including but not limited to; Travel Insurance, Flight upgrades, domestic flights, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, personal spending money, passports, travel visas required, any other transport as required to and from departure point, and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. Travel Insurance is required to be held by all travellers.
    • The trip must be taken by 30/06/2018 otherwise it will be deemed to be forfeited by the winner. Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winner.

  13. The Promoters decision as to the winners is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered in relation to the conduct of the promotion or otherwise.
  14. The prize winner agrees to provide requested information and to allow themselves to be photographed and filmed for marketing and publicity use by the Promoter and sponsors.
  15. The Promoter may, at any time in its sole discretion and without prior notice, vary, modify, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions and may also withdraw or discontinue the promotion at any time without any notice or liability to any entrant.
  16. Contest closed to employees and immediate families of the Pukekohe Business Association and Pukekohe Travel.
  17. Entrance into the competition is deemed to be acceptance of the rules and conditions and confirmation that the entrant has necessary authority to enter the Promotion.
  18. All entries will be added to the database of the promoter and sponsors for further communications.
  19. The Promoter and its associated agencies shall not be liable in any way for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant whose entry is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
