‘Ntolerance is a ‘one-stop-shop’ for people who have food allergies or intolerances. They cater for people who have to eliminate wheat, gluten, dairy, egg, nut, soy etc from their diets. ‘Ntolerance stocks a large range of bread, pasta, cereals, pies, sausage rolls, crackers, snacks, baking products and so forth.
As well as food, ‘Ntolerance has a large range of books, both information and recipes, and additional information on how to get proper diagnosis and how to adapt your diet and lifestyle to cope.
‘Ntolerance was started as a result of the owners struggling to find ‘safe’ foods for their own children who have food allergies and intolerances. The increase in the awareness of food allergies and the increase in the population of Franklin has resulted in this new business/concept to become stronger and begin to grow and establish a loyal and ever-growing customer base both in the store and online.
This growth can partly be attributed to the support of other local businesses and mentors. Word of mouth and networking locally has also been a strong contribution.
The long term goal for this business is to be able to open more branches in other selected areas of New Zealand, providing help and support on a wider basis.
